He received a BFA degree from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, and an MFA degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">After he retired from teaching, his illustration focus shifted from editorial illustration to children\u2019s book illustration. He recently completed his seventh illustrated book for Peachtree Publishers. Style Weekly (September 5, 2007) named Robert Meganck one of Richmond\u2019s top 25 most influential artists.
