Our life on Earth is brief. Our life in eternity will be forever. A balanced sense of our life expectancy will equally affirm both truths. Each new day is a gift from God which is filled with the opportunity and obligation to live for Jesus Christ in a way that impacts both the present and future. The possibilities of sudden death and the imminent return of Christ impart an urgency to our calling to live godly lives in this present age.
