God’s plan is not always our plan. I knew in 1997 the Lord laid it on my heart to write a book, but it was not until the pain of losing my first born that led me to finally surrender and begin this journey. Looking back at my journals it became clear in my mind that all this work that had been in a box for so many years was meant to come full circle.
The gut wrenching, stab me in the heart pain prompted me to write and begin to heal. Years back I was to write a book, but it was not until the tragic death of my son, Hal, that it became crystal clear to me that it would be a story of a mother’s love, loss, and my faith through it all.
