Resting in His Strength
Our Flesh always looks for a peace that comes from this world rather than a peace that comes for Heaven. I hope I learn to rest in the peace that comes from knowing where I am going, rather than were I am.
God’s peace doesn’t come from us planning our lives out, it comes from us trusting Him with every moment of our lives. When we walk in the ways of God (His Commandments), and allow those commandments to be played out in our lives, we move from the place of just having the knowledge of God into becoming a living Image of God’s attributes to the world. Which is where the phrase comes: Don’t just talk the talk, but walk the walk.
Jesus, was and is, the visible Arm of God (Love). The Cross that He died on is a symbol of His strength revealed to men, and the reality of what the Son of God spoke to man. It is in His Love that we find our strength. A strength that we can all hold onto, a strength that can’t be matched or destroyed.
It is simple Truth.
I am the way, the truth, and the life.
When we walk in that truth, we are walking in His Strength.
My only hope in all of this, is that as you read this, you don’t hear anything of me, and everything of Him. I truly do believe that if any of these ideas or things that I shared are of myself, they are truly just a waste of time.
