I have enjoyed both books, but I especially like “Walking on Water.” The descriptions of the acts of Jesus often evoke an emotional response. It’s like a detailed description by an eyewitness. Peter is my favorite New Testament character. I identify with him in many ways.

This book brings the story of Simon Peter, the fisherman, to life. Jesus life, crucifixion are seen through the eyes and experience of Peter. To me, the most powerful part of the story was Peter’s life after the resurrection, as he became the apostle Jesus knew he would become. His relationship with the guards who arrested him and took him to Rome to stand before Nero is especially well told.
