Makes you stop and think
As a woman and a mother, I was always intrigued by ‘…Mary treasured these things and pondered them in her heart.’ I never gave thought to Joseph. This book gives insight to Joseph’s fatherhood of Jesus. There were ideas throughout the book to stop and think about, such as Joseph being both father and child of Jesus. The beautiful image at the end of the book will be one that will remain in the mind of the readers long after finishing the novel.
Amazing Read!!!
This is one of the best books I have ever read. Norm has an amazing way of describing beautiful emotions related to romance, marriage, parenting and worship. Drawing so much from scripture, he really made so much more come alive to me about Jesus’ birth and parents and death, etc.

Just not what I expected. For me, this could not hold my interest. Seldom do I stop reading a book once I have started it, sadly this one I did
I enjoyed the book because it had a lot of insight ...
I enjoyed the book because it had a lot of insight into husband/wife relationships, friend relationships, child/parent relationship, grief and sorrow feelings, etc. The thoughtfulness into the insight of Joseph as husband, father, son-in-law, friend, etc. and most importantly his relationship with God as a humble man serving his Lord was very creative. The book is not one you can’t put down but it is one that you will ponder as you read it and afterward.
