Caretaker of a King Reviews

A novel by a carpenter for a carpenter

A heartwarming novel from a different perspective of a consecrated man, Joseph – the earthly father of the Messiah – of which very little is written. The author expresses how life must have been having a Holy Spirit breathed Son and the relationship Jesus had with his Mother, grand parents, siblings and neighbors and especially with Joseph. This novel is moving, relational, and practical as written by a carpenter about a carpenter. You will be inspired by each chapter and may need your Kleenex throughout, especially the ending. Enjoy this journey for Norm’s first novel!

A Great Inspirational Read

Caretaker of a King takes you deep into what it may have been like seeing Jesus grow up. Intriguing insights unfold from the mind of the author whose unique personal experiences no doubt influenced what it might have been like as the son of a carpenter in Jesus’ day. The authors personal faith in Christ and personal Bible studies show through as he steps accurately as he can back in time. A great, inspirational read.

I could not agree more with Ronnie Haynes summation of this novel. I especially enjoyed the way Norm would flash forward during specific events to show the impact of the event on the lives of people in his story. The way he interweaves the historical Biblical accounts with his ruminations on events that might have been reminded me a bit of “The Greatest Story Ever Told”. I also suggest you have a kleenex handy for that last chapter!

Heartwarming & worshipful

Heartwarming & worshipful. Insightful into the human & divine nature of Jesus. It makes real the story & role of Joseph as Jesus’ earthly father. Keep the Kleenex handy.
